Halloween with the Cousins

One Halloween tradition we celebrate is getting together for some yummy food and games with our cousins. Of course it is mandatory that everyone dress up (even the grown-ups). All came together and showed off their unbelieveably awesome costumes. I swear they get better and better every year! Even we put in a little more thought this year as to what we would be for Halloween. It was especially a lot of fun putting Kyle's costume together. After all the dressing up, he now wishes to be addressed as K-Bev. What goes better together than a Gangster with an Aerobicizing wife?

Halloween Fun

As tradition goes, we go get our Punkin, bring it home and start in on painting it up. For the first time in four years, we finally have a painted face on one of our pumpkins! Usually we see a full pumpkin smeared with large amounts of a brown, reddish color from the paints getting all mixed up together. Everyone had their own preferred way of painting their punkins which makes it so much fun to watch.

Erica preferred to tap the painted brush to the pumpkin which made it cute, but we later found lots of paint splattered on our kitchen wall from all that tapping. Oh well, it's all worth it when you see such a happy face as Erica's!
