Fiesta Days and the 24th Fun!

We celebrated Spanish Fork's Fiesta Days last week by going to the carnival and hanging out at the park to watch fireworks. We sure had a lot of fun and my mom even came down for a couple days to hang out with us.

Memory Lane

Memory Lane.....
MEMORY LANE- I saw this on my friends blog and thought it would be fun. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Kyle's new ride

We made a brave decision this week and bought ourselves another car. It was about time to let go of the beloved Jeep and get something to fit our family of five. It's a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. No more packing the Jeep with 3 car seats and making one of us drive the other car! It's kind of a fixer-upper, but Kyle loves the opportunity.

Our grass...updated

So I've gotten a couple complaints that I'm not keeping up on our grass pictures. So last night I took this picture of what our grass looks like. Purdy, ain't it? We did get a lot of weeds because of the topsoil we put down, but you can see the lush green grass below the weeds. Not to worry, we just need to spray it with weed killer to get rid of them.

Camp'in with the Bevan's

We spent the 4th of July weekend camping with Kyle's family in Heber. There was lots to do like canoeing, fishing, zipp'in down the zip-line, and eating lots and lots of S'more's! The kids had a really great time and it was good to get together with the family.

Zach and his cousin, Sadie canoeing all by themselves. Wow, they grow up so fast!!

Kyle's catch of the day. There were some really big fishies at the lake!

Erica's favorite activity was digging in the sand.

When Erica wasn't digging, she was talking Great Grandpa Bevan's ear off. Aww, isn't it cute?
